This is an application that converts audio files. During the conversion process, you can select the quality, the sample rate or the channel.
The program comes with a user-friendly interface. If you dislike the tool’s default theme, there are lots of other skins that you can choose from. To start the converting process, you just select the audio file that you want to convert. You don’t have to worry about the compatibility, because the program supports various formats, such as MP2, MP3, OGG, AAC, M4A, RA, AC3, WMA, APE, CUE, WAV, AIFF, CDA, AMR, FLAC, VOC, ALAC, OMA or AU.
Once you have added the audio file, it displays some information about its location, the start time or the duration. After completing this step, the application gives you the possibility to select the converting format. You can choose from MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, RM/RA, FLAC, AMR, MP2, AAC, or G726 extensions. Before starting the conversion, you can also edit some options that have been already mentioned above. The tool can change the file’s quality from 32 to 160 Kbits or the sample rate from 16000 to 48000 Hz. The last editable feature lets you choose the channel: mono or stereo.
Because of its unregistered version, the application limits the converting process to two minutes. Other restricted features are the start time and the duration. However, the program can be useful if you want to add audio files to your phone, but it supports only one type of extensions. The only thing that lacks is the maximize option; you have no choice but to work within a small window.
In conclusion, this is a good and easy-to-use tool that supports lots of file formats and it works well.
