The following full-length review applies to version 6.1
Audio Converter is a program for converting files between most popular formats. It´s able to convert between MP3, WAV, WMA, M4A, FLAC, PCM, OGG, AAC, AMR and other formats. Using this program, you will also be able to create ringtones, as well as apply some effects and custom parameters to audio.
You are able to add files for conversion from any drive in your system, or you can grab audio from an audio CD. This program will also let you import audio from video files, saving the result to any of the offered audio formats. Audio Converter also has an Audio Tag Editor that allows you to read and edit the tags contained in audio files. Another feature of the program is the Editor, that allows you to modify an audio file by trimming parts, fading in or out, and save the result to any file format. This way, you will be able to create your own ringtones.
The unregistered version of this program will add something called "Voice Logo" to every converted file. That is, you will hear a female voice saying "AVS Media Tunnel" every fifteen seconds. |
